yu-gi-oh is unwatchable

Thanks so much to ‪@DistantCoder‬ and ‪@PhyYuGiOh‬ for making this video possible through their interviews, and Dan from ‪@TheOrganization‬ for editing my script once again. Yu-Gi-Oh does not really have non-player spectators to it's competitive circuit, despite the fact that millions of people across the globe played the game growing up. A lot of this can be chalked up to the game's complexity, but other complex games like Super Smash Bros. Melee have a thriving scene for spectators. How do they do it? I think a significant part of this issue is a presentation problem; for the game to do better, people need to be shown the exciting stories about it that are still waiting to be told.
