I Hacked Back My Limelight Hydrangea Tree!

Yes, I hacked back my Limelight Hydrangea Tree to give it a much-needed fresh start this year. While drastic, this amounts to a rejuvenation pruning that has encouraged many new stems to grow out of the older stems. In this video, I show you exactly what I did, plus how the tree looked 3 years ago (gorgeous!), why I needed to do an “emergency pruning” 2 years ago (not so gorgeous!), and how it looks today (happier!).
