Heboh Anggota Pemadam Tewas Tersengat Listrik Saat Kebakaran di Panangkalaan Hulu HSU

BANJARMAASINPOST.CO.ID, AMUNTAI - A fire erupted in Panangkalaan Hulu Village, North Amuntai District, North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Regency, South Kalimantan, on Monday (June 29, 2026). The fire is suspected to have started when a car parked in the yard caught fire, right next to a power pole, causing the pole to break in the middle and collapse. According to information gathered, the power line fell onto a firefighter on the scene. Unexpectedly, Ahmad Ridhani, the firefighter, was electrocuted by the cable. Local residents immediately helped the victim, who was taken to Pambalah Batung Regional Hospital. Aulia, a colleague of Ahmad Ridhani who accompanied him to the hospital, said the victim was unconscious on the way. "I tried to wake him, but his body was already pale, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital," she said. The fire destroyed a house occupied by two families, Rahmatullah and Suherman.
