This Is What 2.25 Inches of Rain Looks Like

I wasn't expecting much rain this morning, but it came down fast. We got more than 2 inches in about 90 minutes, leaving water everywhere and turning my plans for the day upside down. Once the worst of it passed, I walked around the property to see how everything held up, checked on the dogs, the chickens, and the cats, and discovered a new pond where the old tree stump used to be. Then I spent some time with Lily, Rooster, and Tilly and answered a question I've been seeing in the comments about whether all three dogs get equal attention. Just another wet morning on the mountain. Thanks for watching, folks. Happy trails!
