First Time in Hong Kong: Ferry From Macau, MRT, Kowloon & Symphony of Lights

Our first time in Hong Kong! After settling in, we head out to find a cheap dinner at Café de Coral, one of Hong Kong’s popular budget restaurants. With full stomachs, we walk to the Victoria Harbour waterfront to watch the Symphony of Lights show (8 PM daily) and enjoy Hong Kong’s famous skyline at night. To finish our first day in Hong Kong, we explore the streets around our hotel, check out nearby shopping and restaurants, and soak in the new sights and sounds of the city. We end the night perfectly with a Mixue bubble tea and a cold beer. We’re budget travelers, so follow along as we look for the best deals and affordable ways to enjoy Hong Kong.
