Brewing beer with FRESH HOPS in Nelson, New Zealand!

1 Year ago today I had NO CLUE what a "Fresh Hop" beer was and I thought it was the name of yet another small beer festival. Little did I know that New Zealand goes all in fresh hop beers every autumn and it's one of the coolest things I've ever been a part of. Truly a craft beer lover's dream. Join me as we follow the process of brewing with fresh hops, talk to people in the brewing and hop farm industry, and see how it all comes together. Is this solely unique to New Zealand? No, but due to the country's size, fresh hops can be distributed throughout all of the participating breweries and everyone can experience a fresh hop beer. I think that is what's unique about fresh-hop beer in New Zealand. A lot of people helped me make this video and I can't say thank you enough to the following: Adam Tristan | Eddyline Brewing Allen Wood | Eddyline Brewing (Sucks we couldn't get an interview in!!) The whole Eddyline Team! Brent McGlashen | Mac Hops Dan Hagenaar | League of Brewers Kelly Ryan | Waimea West Hops Ben Giesen | Waimea West Hops Colin Oldham | New Hoplands I really appreciate you all making this experience something I'll never forget!
