Standar Penilaian Pendidikan Berdasarkan Permendikbudristek Nomor 21 Tahun 2022

Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation Number 21 of 2022 establishes official standards regarding the learning outcome assessment mechanism for students at the early childhood education (PAUD), primary, and secondary levels. This regulation emphasizes that evaluation must be conducted fairly, objectively, and educationally to support the optimal development of students' potential. It explains the assessment procedures, including the formulation of objectives, the selection of instruments, and the reporting of learning outcomes in the form of report cards or progress documents. Specifically, this document distinguishes between formative assessments for improving the learning process and summative assessments as the basis for determining class promotion and graduation. This policy serves as the primary guideline for educators and educational units in managing learning outcome data systematically and transparently. With the enactment of this regulation, several previous assessment regulations were revoked to provide legal certainty aligned with the latest National Education Standards.
