Talking about classic saltwaterflies the fly Clousers Minnow has to be in the top-three, closely followed up by the Jiggy Fly. Two of the biggest profiles in saltwater flyfishing and -tying, Bob Clouser and Bob Popovich have created theese two patterns many years ago - but they still are some of the most popular and effective patterns today. While Clouser uses a straight shank hook for his Clousers, Popovich prefer sometimes to bend the shank a bit for giving the bendback fly a better flow in the water.
