It is called the mountain sea, or the seaside at the foot of the Călimani Mountains. The story of the Colibița resort begins almost two hundred years ago when, here, under the mountain ridges, it was founded with a hamlet with a few huts. After 50 years, a sanatorium appeared near the huts of Colibița, built by the Saxons from Bistrița who realized the therapeutic potential of the area.
