He has acted in more than 20 films including Hindi and Tamil, and is also known for his roles in films such as Nidra, Chakkaramuthu, Nerariyan CBI and Ustad hotel. He was born on 23 April 1979 in Kannur, Kerala, to the veteran Malayalam actor and director Raghavan and his wife, Shobha. He grew up alongside his sister, Jyothsna, and was a cousin of actress Nyla Usha. He married Dhanya in 2007.
