Schumacher SE-2158 Battery Charger Repair

This video shows the process of repairing this Schumacher SE-2158 battery charger. In this particular case, the charging capacity selector switch had an intermittent contact on the 12V/10A setting (probably the most used setting for this charger). The switch replacement was quite straight forward and went very well. I now have a capable battery charger for almost any occasion that only cost me $25 in repairs. It’s amazing that this thing was left on the side of the road. It’s got allot of life left in it. (1/18/2016)
