Hacker Sovereign Rp18 Initial test and AM section fix

The Hacker Sovereign RP18 transistor radio was the first of the AM FM radios that were renowned for quality of sound in a portable format. This particular example is one with the early white dial face which were fitted only to the first radios. In this video I go over the radio from initial inspection to fixing the AM Broadcast section. Although the repair turned out to be simply capacitors that needed replacing this time it could have been something else. I go through the basic isolation of the faulty section using logical fault finding techniques that I described in a previous video.
