Mecklenburg-Pommersche Schmalspurbahn
The Mecklenburg-Pomeranian Narrow Gauge Railway, or MPSB for short, was a narrow-gauge railway network over 250 kilometers long with a track gauge of 600 millimeters in what is now Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Almost completely dismantled as war reparations after World War II, the remaining operations were finally shut down by the end of 1969. Since 1999, an association has been working to establish a museum railway on a reconstructed 2.6 kilometers of track. Join us as we journey through history with scenes from the 1930s and 1960s.
