Pear Kvass | Worth the ferment??

Looking for Ideas on how to use up the beautiful abundance of harvest? I have one here! Pear Kvass is a probiotic rich drink, using pears and raw honey. to make the pear Kvass: -rinse pears (preferably organic) and cut into small pieces. -add enough to cover 1/4 of the vessel you choose to use. -add raw honey (I added 1/3ish Cup to mine, using a gallon sized jar) -you can add whatever spices you desire to flavor, or leave plain. -fill vessel to neck with non-chlorinated water. -cover with a plate, or lid. (doesn't need to be a fermenting lid) -stir with clean utensil everyday (to make sure that the pears are continually moved and mold doesn't grow) for 2-3 days. -filter/ strain out the pear pieces and bottle in swing top air tight bottles -add 1 tsp sugar to help carbonation -let ferment for 2/3 days and refrigerate (may need longer depending on coolness of environment) -Enjoy!
