A wee tour round Peterhead 4 (Old)

A few old shops in peterhead from the longate to Broad st and from Ugie rd to the toolbooth, Thistle street to Cairntrodlie. Balmoor Terrace before they built houses and the houses then built on the hill, Thistle st before they knocked down to create Drummers corner. High st in buchanhaven along with Ware rd. The hospital on Ugie rd before the wall was built and Kirk st with the Gordons drill hall in all its glory to the men digging the trench's for laying electric along Queen st. The bowling green on Queen st with its mini golf and Tennis courts in the background And the demolition of the Phd Bath's on Lodge Walk. The patent slip way at Port Henry Pier still used to this day. Construction of the Breakwaters laying the granite blocks and erecting the round houses as their ends. The masons and the divers who battled the sea and won. Benzie Millers was before Aronotts, but sadly Aronotts was destroyed in a large fire. the roads before they even built Peterhead's expansion program Copeland hill / Lower grange.
