Plant Cowboy's JUNGLE in Washington - Château De Lalacelle's Gardener Shayne Chandler Part 1

You may have seen Shayne Chandler designing the garden at Château De Lalacelle on Escape To The Dream, Restoring The Château. Now you can see his own jungle in Kingston, Washington. Shayne is a plant cowboy through and through. He has collected plants in the exotic, rugged terrain of Myanmar, Vietnam, Taiwan, Tasmania, Chile, Nepal - just to name a few! He then has the daunting task of bringing them back, getting them through customs, trialing them in his own garden, and figuring out if it was all worth it. When he's not designing the more formal garden of Château De Lalacelle, he is in his own woodland garden. This Washington garden is much more naturalistic, and often blurs the lines between temperate and tropical. Come immerse yourself in the lush jungle-feel of Shayne's garden, teeming with the massive leaves of scheffleras, aralias, podophyllums, paris, and more.
