Victorious German players arrive back at team hotel

(14 Jul 2014) The German national football team arrived back at their hotel victorious on Sunday evening, after beating Argentina and winning the World Cup for the fourth time in their history. The footballers were welcomed by jubilant fans who waved flags and chanted as the team arrived. Manager Joachim Loew led Germany to win its first World Cup title as a reunified country. The winning goal was scored by midfielder Mario Goetze during overtime. It's also the first time a European team has won in South America.
