A heatwave on the farm means extra care, constant checking, and doing everything possible to keep the animals safe and comfortable. In this video, I’m sharing how we help our horses, alpacas, dogs, cats, and other farm animals stay cool during extreme summer heat. From fresh water and shade to fans, cooling areas, and watching closely for signs of heat stress, these hot days require a little more attention and a lot of love.
