All About African Violets Episode 24
Episode 24 of All About African Violets includes a full demonstration of separating baby plantlets from the momma leaf. This includes the first half of Annie’s process, which begins with wick cutting and preparation, touches on “fruitful days” and modified Texas-style potting, and continues with the “opening a book” method of splitting off babies. Annie shows how she makes the decision on which and how many plantlets to keep and pot up, and demonstrates how she pots up baby plantlets. You will see the fruits of Annie’s labor in the Look at What’s on the Stands! The process of potting up continues in Episode 25, with a demonstration on how to pot up established plants.
