Polignano a Mare, Puglia 2026 - Sunset Walk in Southern Italy (Old town & Lama Monachile!)

Polignano a Mare, right on Italy's Adriatic coast, might be the most photographed spot in all of Puglia, but it’s even better when you actually walk through it. For a long time this was just a quiet fishing town, a day-trip spot for people from Bari. Then photos of the cliffs started spreading, and now visitors come from all over. It's only about 20 miles south of Bari, so it fits easily into a Puglia trip alongside places like Alberobello, Ostuni and Locorotondo. Easy to reach and hard to leave! On this 4K tour we get lost in the alleys of the old town, then step out onto the terraces looking over the sea before heading down the main street, Via Roma, lined with bars, restaurants and trattorias. We wrap up at Cala Porto, the little beach inside the Lama Monachile gorge.
