St Anton 2026 - Rendl Descent, Red 1 (Day 5)

2nd April 2026, 12:25 Another run down Red 1 at Rendl. Nice long run, starting this time from the top of the Maassbahn chair. Heading down under the gondola and then under the Gampbergbahn chair. If you head a bit further right you can pick up the Red 2 section, which joins on a little further down (2:45). The run down to the valley is a great long run with a variety of terrain - flat sections and steeper more challenging bits. Tree-lined for the most part as well which is good when visibility is poor. No real options on the way down and the only restaurant is the Bifang-Alm that we pass at 8:10. The run finishes with a long flat section that takes you to the bridge over the road back to the gondola station. Also in view at the end is the main bus station beside the main road.
