When it comes to trimming and shoeing the horse, being able to achieve balance is dependent upon your ability to position yourself correctly for using the appropriate tools. You can't achieve balance if you can't translate what you perceive as balance in your mind to the foot if you are struggling to stay in position. The techniques offered in this video will help get you into the correct positions. If the horse is uncomfortable, you will be uncomfortable.
