At the beginning of the year, the German Federal Association for the Promotion of Swimming Instruction (BFS) published ten standardized swimming pool rules. They are now formulated in a more child-friendly, up-to-date, and easier-to-understand way. However, the "old" swimming pool rules are by no means invalid or suddenly incorrect. This also applies to existing training materials or swimming certificates. The important thing is that children understand the swimming pool rules and don't just memorize them.
