This episode highlights Delfina Fonseca, born in Curacautín, who was Chile's first female firefighter, a role she fulfilled for over fifty years. From a very young age, Delfina was interested in helping the community, including assisting firefighters in extinguishing the frequent fires that broke out in her hometown, where most of the houses were made of wood.
