Alpinestars T-Missile Drystar Tech-Air Jacket: https://goo.gl/JUJYZn The new Tech-Air compatible T-Missile Drystar Jacket is an advanced poly-textile piece with stretch fabric incorporated in key areas for better flex and comfort and to accommodate a Tech Air system airbag deployment. It’s also equipped with stretch accordion panels on the back and sleeves for even more range of motion. This is nice because Alpinestars is typically a fairly form-fit brand. The extra range of motion offered is going to see you in a more comfortable, casual type jacket but still benefiting from the accurate fit. This is really important when it comes to armor, since you don’t want that stuff shifting around if you go down. This is a large, my usual size, and there’s plenty of give in the sleeves and room in the torso, though all armor is well placed. It’s slightly more casual fit than the T Missile leather jacket, and will be a good piece for riders that want the racy look of the Missile without the snug fit of a full-on race jacket. The Drystar membrane included in the construction takes the T-Missile a step further too, providing some weather defense. So not only do you get the race-style of the Missile design, but you get a shield against any wet conditions you might face. Suddenly this jacket becomes more of a three-season piece than one you only take out on a sunny day. Taking a closer look at some of the other exterior elements, you’ll notice Dynamic Friction Shield external dual density sliders on the shoulders, along with additional padded elements on the torso and back. There’s two zippered hand warmer pockets, along with two zippered intake vents on the chest. There’s also Velcro wrist and waist adjusters too and reflective elements throughout. Inside you’ll find a waterproof inner pocket. Microfiber lines the collar and cuffs. Then there’s impact protection, which comes by way of Bio Armor in the elbows and shoulders. The chest and back compartments come equipped with PE padding, but can hold Nucleon inserts if you’re looking for an armor upgrade. As a Tech-Air compatible piece, there’s connection points for the airbag built into the interior also.
