Twenty-five years ago, a Chilean graphic designer decided that the history, language, and culture of the Rapa Nui people deserved their own space in the publishing world. Thus, Rapa Nui Press was born, a heritage publishing house that for a quarter of a century has published books on archaeology, anthropology, history, photography, and narrative about Easter Island, and which today expands its catalog to include other Chilean heritage sites. In this episode, we talk with its director, Eduardo Ruiz-Tagle, along with historian and Easter Island specialist Marcos Moncada and journalist and cultural manager Fernanda Lizana, to review 25 years of books, memory, and Rapa Nui culture.
