Talking IoT regulations (Part 2) - Webinar

For further information, please contact us at [email protected] ! --- Date: 27 May 2025 Europe's IoT strategy is shaping the future of connected industries and driving innovation in key sectors such as automotive, smart cities and industrial automation. As IoT adoption accelerates, ensuring a harmonised regulatory framework is essential to enable cross-border scalability and secure data flows. The EU has taken significant steps to provide legal certainty for IoT service providers, addressing several key issues. Regulations such as the European Electronic Communications Code (EECC) and the Cyber Resilience Act are paving the way for a more structured and resilient IoT ecosystem. However, fragmentation remains a challenge, with different national rules and requirements across member states. Establishing a coherent regulatory approach will be critical to unlocking the full potential of the IoT, and ensuring Europe remains competitive in the global digital economy. Cullen International has invited policymakers, industry leaders and experts to discuss the latest regulatory developments shaping IoT in Europe during two exclusive one-hour free webinars. The event series will also explore best practices for compliance, the impact of emerging legislation, and the opportunities for businesses to navigate this evolving landscape. Speakers part two: Veronica Bocarova - Head of Training at Cullen International Robert Mourik - BEREC Chair 2025, Chairman and Commissioner at ComReg Donald Connor - Head of Regulation and Policy at Transatel Luciana Widengren - Chief Legal Officer at Telenor Connexion
