Inside the Waveform: Vevor 6 kW Inverter at Full Output

In this video I test the $300 Vevor 6 kW inverter at full load and check the AC waveform on a Tektronix scope. We step the load from idle all the way up to a full 6 kW using an S19J miner, and I show you how the waveform changes as the inverter approaches its electrical and thermal limits. The inverter held about 6 kW for almost 10 minutes before hitting an over temperature shutdown, and the waveform stayed surprisingly stable right up to that point. They shape the input current and regulate their internal DC bus, so minor waveform distortion and voltage sag do not affect operation.
