At Haydau Monastery, I attended a puppet theater festival, and in Kassel, I experienced the legendary "Water Games" in Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park. A true highlight and highly recommended for every visitor in summer. I continued along the Fulda Cycle Path to its end in Hann. Münden. Unlike last year, I turned right this time and cycled along the Werra River into Thuringia. The weather changed, and for the next few days, I was battling extremely strong winds, either head-on or tail-on. My final stop was the "Bergwiese" campsite in Thalwenden. It's in a unique location and I really enjoyed it, despite the long climb at the end of the day.
