MAGLITE: Switch Disassembly and Improvement

This is a video showing how to rebuild the Maglite 3-D cell flashlight. I bought this flashlight back in 1999 or so, they change the designs slightly every few years so if you have a Maglite it may look different inside. There are many little parts where metal-to-metal contact occurs. I put electrical switch lubricant (Lubriplate DS-ES, Electric Switch Contact Grease) on all the metal-to-metal contact points and around the switch contacts. This is so that the arcing of the switch turning on and off doesn't get 'dirty'. Disclaimer: Do not attempt. If you attempt to do anything depicted here you do so at your own risk!
