Solenne Huet FERRONNERIE d'ART et Sculpture metal - METAL ARTWORK

Solenne Huet est l'artiste qui a réalisé cette monumentale sculpture. Solenne Huet est née à Agen mais a passé sa jeunesse à Foulayronnes où elle va à l'école puis commence ses études classiques au lycée Palissy à Agen. Très tôt, lors d'un stage découverte chez un vannier à 14 ans, elle s'intéresse aux métiers manuels, et c'est en seconde qu'elle décide de s'orienter dans une filière technique afin d'assouvir sa passion pour la création d'objets et pour l'art. Au cours de son cursus, elle découvre la ferronnerie d'art chez Yvan Saramon, ferronnier établi à Artigues, sur la commune de Pont-du-Casse. Au bout d'une semaine, conquise, elle décide que ce sera son métier. «Un vrai coup de foudre professionnel !», dit-elle. Sur les conseils de son mentor, elle se dirige vers le lycée professionnel d'Uzès, dans le Gard, où après deux années de formation, elle obtiendra son CAP de ferronnier d'art. Rejoignant le Lot-et-Garonne, après quelques mois dans une entreprise de ferronnerie, elle reprend, à 21 ans, l'atelier d'Yvan Saramon, tragiquement disparu. Elle réalise ses premières sculptures et pièces de ferronnerie (portails, escaliers, garde-corps, pergolas, etc.) qu'elle fabrique sur mesure et expose dans des salons régionaux et nationaux. Solenne Huet was born in Agen but spent her youth in Foulayronnes where she went to school and then began her classical studies at the Palissy high school in Agen. Very early, during a discovery internship with a basket maker at 14, she became interested in manual trades, and it was in second that she decided to orient herself in a technical field in order to quench her passion for creation of objects and for art. During her studies, she discovered ironwork with Yvan Saramon, a blacksmith established in Artigues, in the town of Pont-du-Casse. After a week, conquered, she decides that it will be her job. “A real love at first sight!” She says. On the advice of her mentor, she went to the vocational school in Uzès, in the Gard, where after two years of training, she obtained her CAP as an ironworker. Joining Lot-et-Garonne, after a few months in an ironwork business, she took over, at 21, the workshop of Yvan Saramon, tragically disappeared. She made her first sculptures and pieces of ironwork (gates, stairs, railings, pergolas, etc.) which she made to measure and exhibited in regional and national fairs. CONTACT: (+33)7 52 13 05 85
