Someone Dumped Hazardous Waste in Greenvale, Melbourne... This Is Outrageous

Every time I ride through Melbourne and Victoria, I hope to discover beautiful new roads and hidden places. Instead, far too often, I come across scenes like this. Seeing our bushland, parks and roadsides treated as dumping grounds genuinely makes me angry and disappointed. This isn't just rubbish—it's an attack on the environment we all share. It's where our children explore, where families spend time together, and where Australia's native wildlife lives. In this video, the waste has been labelled as hazardous, meaning it may potentially contain asbestos. If that is the case, it isn't just an eyesore—it could pose a serious risk to public health if disturbed. Airborne asbestos fibres can cause life-threatening diseases when inhaled, and they also threaten the animals that call this bushland home. I believe those who deliberately dump waste like this should face much tougher consequences. Heavy fines should be the minimum, and where the evidence supports it, prosecution should also be considered. Illegal dumping isn't a harmless shortcut—it shifts the cost and the danger onto every member of the community. One solution I would love to see is hidden surveillance cameras installed at known dumping hotspots. Working alongside Victoria Police, local councils could identify vehicle registration numbers, investigate offenders, and send a clear message that dumping our environment is not acceptable. I understand that some people may be struggling financially. But hardship should never become an excuse to dump hazardous waste where children play, people walk their dogs, and wildlife survives. There are legal ways to dispose of waste, and choosing not to use them has consequences for everyone else. I hope Hume City Council continues to strengthen its efforts to tackle illegal dumping through better monitoring, stronger enforcement, and greater public awareness. Our community deserves clean parks, clean bushland, and safe places for future generations. This video isn't about naming or shaming individuals. It's about raising awareness of a growing problem that affects all of us. If this issue matters to you, please share this video so more people see what's happening. Together, we can encourage respect for our environment and help protect the places that make Victoria such a great place to live. Thank you for watching, and if you'd like to support the channel, please like, subscribe, and join me on future rides as we continue exploring—and protecting—the incredible places we call home. #IllegalDumping #HazardousWaste #Asbestos #Melbourne #Victoria #ProtectOurBushland #EnvironmentalAwareness #KeepAustraliaBeautiful #Motovlog #MotorcycleLife
