Argosy' Locks Cruise in Seattle has two options, you can either depart from the Seattle waterfront and end at Lake Union or depart from Lake Union and end at the waterfront. This video features a tour departing from Lake Union. Either option will take you through the Fremont Canal, the Ballard Ship Canal, the Ballard Locks and Elliot Bay. On clear days, you get views of the Olympic Mountains, Mount Baker and Mount Rainier. The Ballard Locks, which is the main feature of this tour, adjust the water levels and allow boats to travel between Lake Union and the Puget Sound. In this video you will the see the water levels dropping before the boat makes it out to the Puget Sound.
