Having become famous for its story and lore, the meticulous worldbuilding, and an incredible dive into philosophy to explore the meaning behind life, the individual, consciousness, and morality, it returns to the same world to pick up the narrative thread and delve into the concept of society, feelings, and coexistence. Set centuries after the events of the first game, we find ourselves in the role of 1k, the thousandth born, in the city of New Jerusalem, which is being built by the "New Humans." Yet, not all that glitters is gold, and we will soon discover that much more than a simple target number of citizens is hidden behind The Goal: with the population divided amidst growing difficulties, increasingly scarce resources, and more or less submerged political movements, the exploration team will be drawn to a mysterious island, where they will face a whole series of new puzzles and the mysteries hidden behind imposing megastructures of obscure construction. But unlike the previous chapter, these puzzles are actually existing. Who built them?
