STO: How to earn Dilithium the *easy* way in Star Trek Online in 2025

Just a quick video outlining how I earn dilithium when I need it in bulk. This is not the best way. This is probably not the fastest way either. What this is, is the easiest way... in fact, it is so easy, that I demonstrate it on a level 2 noob that has never done anything else. A couple of points that I should have mentioned in the video: You can team up with others to make faster progress, as progress is counted as each teammate completes it (shared progress) so each person is contributing to everyone's gains. I started a thought on "linked fields" but didn't finish it. In "Horizons: Empire of Istaria" there was a pretty great crafting system. One feature in that system was related to mining... a feature called "Linked Fields". Essentially as you dug up an ore, an ore in a nearby field spawned..randomly. This made it so that you couldn't just stay in the same field and mine all day, you had to move around. This system also applies to this method of dilithium farming. You can't just stand in a single spot waiting for your dilithium (except for one spot which I show you in the video..but only when it's super busy). Each spot you complete makes a random unspawned spot spawn. Lastly: large fleets could monopolize a whole instance, and creating a new instance is as easy as just getting your fleet mates to show up, and join your instance. If there's only one, there wont be for long, as it'll just create a new one to compensate for population/overcrowding. Once you have an instance to yourself, you can break up into teams, and divide the area up somewhat amongst yourselves, and rake it in. There are no exploits involved.
