UCRAINA, LA RUSSIA SI SCOPRE VULNERABILE: ODESSA RESISTE E L’EUROPA ARMA KIEV | UGO POLETTI
IlSussidiario.tv interviews Ugo Poletti, founder and editor of The Odessa Journal: the war in Ukraine, attacks in Russia, negotiations, and the war industry. 00:00 Introduction: The attack on the oligarch in Monaco and the update from Odessa 03:50 Ukrainian attacks in Russia and their impact on morale 06:08 Putin's pressure, the stalemate at the front, and daily life in Ukraine 09:00 Negotiations, the end of the war, and pressure on the Kremlin 10:36 Conclusions: Ukraine's military industry, classified channels, and Europe's role On IlSussidiario.tv, Ugo Poletti, reporting from Odessa, analyzes the latest developments in the war in Ukraine. Regarding the attack in Monaco against Ukrainian-born oligarch Vadym Yermolaiev, Poletti urges caution: "There aren't enough facts yet," and, at the moment, he doesn't see a clear connection to the conflict. According to him, this is neither a military nor a political objective, but could be part of dynamics between people who "handle a lot of money." The central point of the interview is Russia's growing vulnerability. Ukrainian attacks against strategic targets near Moscow, refineries, and military facilities demonstrate that "Russia is vulnerable" and are impacting Ukrainian morale, causing "militarily significant" damage, especially to fuel, logistics, and warfare technology. Poletti also emphasizes the psychological effect on Russian citizens, who film and share the attacks on social media. Despite the bombings of Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, and Odessa, the front remains at a "stalemate": Russian conquests are slow, "one village at a time." In Odessa, life continues amidst absorbed fear and "latent stress," with nighttime attacks experienced almost as "a meteorological factor." Regarding negotiations, Poletti says there is no resignation: "Wars end." However, he doesn't give much credence to the announced negotiations and believes pressure on the Kremlin is decisive. As for the defense industry, Ukraine is now an indispensable partner for Europe. For more information: https://www.ilsussidiario.net/ #Ukraine #Russia #WarInUkraine #Odessa #Putin #Geopolitics
