Small Cars & Crashes - 1972 - 2K Scan

This is a favorite of mine, “Small Cars & Crashes” put together by the IIHS in 1972, pitting average full-size vehicles against the new compacts in real-world, head-on collisions. Mind you, this was all captured with film technology, including the onboard slow-motion cameras. Rescued from a dumpster 25+ years ago, it’s now scanned in 2K, de-noised with some slight color adjustment. Not much I can do about the emulsion scratches, but hey, that’s how you know it’s film. Oh, and let’s not forget about the excellent use of bongos!
