Homero Cepeda López is an Ecuadorian criminal lawyer with a distinguished career in criminal law. He began his career at the Attorney General's Office as a prosecutor's assistant, rising to the position of Prosecutor in 2013. He served until 2021 in specialized units focused on transnational and international organized crime, as well as crimes against public administration. He holds a law degree and a degree in International Trade Engineering, a Master's degree in Criminal Law with a specialization in Human Rights from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, and is an expert in German Criminal Law from the University of Göttingen. He is currently a founding partner of the law firm Ortiz & Cepeda Abogados, specializing in criminal law.
