The 1967 Exemplar I is one of the rarest concept cars ever created. Built on a Buick Riviera Gran Sport chassis, this one-off Italian-American luxury coupe was designed by Mario Revelli de Beaumont and handcrafted by Carrozzeria Coggiola in Turin, Italy. The car was commissioned by the Bridgeport Brass Company and the Copper Development Association to demonstrate the future use of copper, brass, and bronze in automotive engineering and styling. Featuring a powerful 430 V8 engine, futuristic wedge-shaped body, copper interior trim, brass-plated wheels, dual copper radiators, and panoramic roof panels, the Exemplar I became one of the most advanced show cars of the late 1960s.
