The Muppets Present... Great Moments in American History was a live street show at the Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square. It ran from October 2, 2016, with regular performances ending on October 5, 2019, before returning for brief seasonal engagements in late 2019 and on Presidents' Day weekend in early 2020. The approximately 10-minute outdoor show took place from the second-story windows of the Heritage House, next to The Hall of Presidents. Rather than using screens or animatronics, Disney employed live puppeteers hidden inside the building to operate full-bodied Muppet puppets synchronized to pre-recorded dialogue by the Muppets' official performers.
