The Hongshan Culture

This is my presentation on The Neolithic Hongshan culture circa 6000 BCE-3000BCE. With a focus on the monumental burials from the later Hongshan (4500-3000 BCE), an overview of tombs is made with references to archaeological insights regarding inequality. An overview of residential data from peripheral Hongshan follows. Concluding with an suggestion regarding possible nature of Hongshan inequality.
