Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 update as of September 2018 (55B)

I hope you guys enjoyed the update 55A , this is the usual dmitrivalencia update of Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 - drive update which i have been doing for a long time. Included some pictures and some borrowed footages from update#55A. Section 2 is on full blast! Additional Updates on this video: 3:30 - Osmena Hwy SB - after the Zobel Roxas / P Ocampo intersection, it seems works have commenced for the SB offramp??? Hmm... 9:00 - Section 2 SMYP and afterwards San Juan River area Update 55B Section 1 was partially opened to vehicles to bypass Dela rosa Off ramp, drive slowly as the surface is not yet treated with asphalt. As for the Quirino - Osmena junction, we see the first steel girder placed for preparation. I have a hunch that there will be temporary ramps built before Quirino and Osmena Highway Junction as you can see the parapet walls on some areas near San Andres were not yet complete (just a hunch). DMCI has been clearing works below. As for section 2, the works here are surprising as more girders have been installed along Plaza Dilao and the concordia bridge rehab seems to be making progress. Due to the limited authorization, we only got a glimpse of the works along SMYP premises since it is a private property. Clearly now we see how section 2's transition to the river. On the other hand, the other side of Sevilla bridge is being demolished for another drawbridge installation. Once these drawbridge were complete, access of barge and other work materials can proceed to the other side of San Juan river. Along Araneta Avenue extension (SM Centerpoint area) there are pier columns erected. The works along the river portion up to Araneta avenue extension is by Bauer Philippines. Section 3 above looks marvelous with that S - curve shape along Araneta Avenue. Commencement of pile boring along Araneta has proceeded, this is for the on ramp. You can also see the steel poles placed on some areas for the on going relocation of the NGCP lines. There are some areas along the elvated portion of section 3 that cannot be completed due to the non relocated transmission poles. One of the awaited steel box girder installation along the intersection of Quezon Avenue and Araneta Avenue is still not complete probably to a electric pole. As for Section 4, the on / off ramps are visible. The transition to multi level elevated road is visible. You can also observe that there are some structures that are too close to the support of the elevated road. An on going demolition along private properties that will be affected by the connection between Sgt Rivera and A Bonifacio was seen, a warehouse was being dismantled. As for the Balintawak interchange area, no major works has been documented as of the moment, but markings can be seen painted along the road. Enjoy watching! #MMSS3 #Metromanilaskywaystage3
