1982年のTOTOの最高傑作アルバム「TOTO Ⅳ」の冒頭を飾り、また同アルバムからの第1弾シングルとしてアメリカのビルボードチャートで5週連続2位に輝き、TOTOの代表曲の1つとなったRosanna（ロザーナ）に挑戦しました！ 以前にもこの曲を叩いた動画を公開しましたが、電子ドラムのハイハットのセンサーの感度が良くなかったので新しいハイハットを購入して取り替え、録画し直しました。 BPM（テンポ）はCDの原曲のままです（BPM＝171）。 ハーフタイム・シャッフルの代名詞的な曲であり、このタイプのリズムの曲としてはとてもテンポが速く、さらにゴーストノートもあるためドラマーにとっては「禁断の曲」と言われている難曲で、まだまだ練習途上です。 今の私のスキルではこのテンポでゴーストノートは綺麗に入れられませんので省略しています。 まだまだ粗い演奏ですが、今後もこの曲の練習に励みます。 温かい目で見守っていただけると幸いです。 I tried at playing Rosanna, the opening track on Toto's 1982 masterpiece album "TOTO IV," and the first single from the album, which spent five consecutive weeks at number two on the US Billboard charts, becoming one of Toto's signature songs! I've previously posted a video of me playing this song, but the hi-hat sensor on my electronic drum set wasn't very sensitive, so I bought a new hi-hat and replaced it before re-recording. The BPM (tempo) is the same as the original CD version (171 BPM). This song is synonymous with the halftime shuffle and has a very fast tempo for this type of rhythm. It also contains ghost notes, making it a difficult song that is known as a "forbidden song" for drummers, and I am still in the process of practicing it. With my current skills, I don't have enough skill to play ghost notes cleanly at this tempo, so I've omitted them. My performance is still rough, but I will continue to practice this song.
