Welcome back, dear travel companions! Today, Peppa brought us to Mantua, a rare gem nestled on the Mincio River. Incredibly beautiful Mantua, the city of the Gonzaga family, offers countless magnificently preserved sites, but on this trip, we first visited Palazzo Te, a palace whose paintings and bas-reliefs left us speechless for over an hour. Then, the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea, which houses a crypt containing earth soaked in the blood of Jesus. We also didn't miss the Fire Brigade Museum, which offers visitors countless restored and still-functioning gems. Unfortunately, one day is too short to see all the wonderful places that an art city of this caliber has to offer.
