EDM Artist Bassnectar, accused of sexual abuse of minors

A popular musical artist who's facing allegations of statutory rape is scheduled to perform at the Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay in October. Lorin Ashton, popularly known by his stage name of Bassnectar, is facing allegations of sex trafficking, child pornography, and sexual abuse of minors. The allegations first surfaced in 2020, followed by a formal lawsuit in 2021. Bassnectar stepped away from the public eye following the initial accusations but has maintained they are untrue.
