The keynote presentation, "The Function of Sleep and the Roles of Hypocretin (Orexin) and of the Locus Coeruleus in Narcolepsy," by Jerome Siegel, PhD, was presented June 9, 2025, during SLEEP 2025, the 39th annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS). Dr. Jerome Siegel is a professor of psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences at UCLA School of Medicine and chief of neurobiology research at the Sepulveda VA Medical Center.
