Lake Como GREENWAY The Lake Como Greenway is a trail that passes through some of the lake's most charming villages and is accessible to everyone, even children. It's a trek along Lake Como that follows ancient pedestrian paths and winds mostly along the hillside, offering spectacular views of this lake basin in Lombardy. The trail officially begins in Colonno, one of the small villages on Lake Como where the parking lot is located, and continues through all the villages in the municipality of Tremezzina (where Villa del Balbianello is located) until it ends in Griante, after the gardens of Villa Carlotta. In our video, we walk the entire route, starting in Colonno and passing through the villages of Sala Comacina, Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra, Tremezzo, and Griante, following sections of the ancient Via Regina. This is one of the walks on Lake Como that's also suitable for children and dogs, but it's important to pay attention to the asphalt temperature and avoid the sunniest hours.
