Aogashima, Kota di Tengah Gunung Berapi Aktif Paling Terisolasi di Dunia

Aogashima is a volcanic island located in southern Japan. It is the southernmost and most isolated inhabited island, politically and administratively part of Japan, but geographically not part of the Japanese archipelago. The islands border the northeastern Philippine Sea and lie just north of the Bonin Islands, which are also administered by Japan. The island is approximately 358 kilometers south of Tokyo, the capital of Japan. Aogashima certainly attracts international attention because the active volcano that forms this large island is home to human life and settlements. People have lived there for many years. The island is a caldera, a super-large hole formed after a volcanic eruption. Because it erupted so long ago, the inner crater is now obscured by lush greenery.
