[HJL2026] D1 BS滋賀vs山梨学院（ハイライト）

The Blue Sticks Shiga (BS Shiga) played their third game of the 2026 Hockey Samurai League Division 1 (D1) season on Sunday, May 10th, at their home ground, OSP Hockey Ground. Their opponent was the Yamanashi Gakuin OCTOBER EAGLES (Yamanashi), led by Coach Yamahori, who was the BS Shiga coach last season. After a fierce battle, the game began under a clear blue sky reminiscent of Lake Biwa, with a center pass from Yamanashi. BS Shiga, hoping to end their losing streak, conceded an early goal in the second minute of the first quarter, just like yesterday, when a Yamanashi player picked up a loose ball. BS Shiga tried to catch up, earning a penalty corner in the eighth minute of the first half, but was thwarted by Yamanashi's solid defense. Unable to stop Yamanashi's explosive momentum, they conceded two more goals in quick succession, in the ninth minute of the first quarter and again just before the end of the game. The first quarter ended 0-3. BS Shiga, desperate to catch up, launched a fierce attack. They repeatedly stole the ball in the opponent's territory. Finally, in the 8th minute of the second quarter, a shot from new recruit #30 Yamashita found the back of the net, narrowing the gap to 1-3. BS Shiga wanted to ride this momentum, but Yamanashi regained their strength. Despite numerous threats to the goal with their excellent teamwork, BS Shiga's guardian, #36 Yasukawa, prevented any further goals. BS Shiga withstood Yamanashi's renewed offensive, ending the second quarter at 1-3. The third quarter proceeded entirely at Yamanashi's pace. In the final fourth quarter, they conceded goals in the 1st and 4th minutes, falling far behind 1-5. BS Shiga continued to attack bravely, but they couldn't stop Yamanashi's momentum, and the match ended 1-5.
