Today my guest is Laura Carney, the author of the book titled "My Father's List". She is a writer and magazine copy editor in NY and has been published by the Washington Post, Associated Press, The Hill, Runner's World, Good Housekeeping, The Fix, Upworthy, Maria Shriver's: The Sunday Paper, and other places. At the age of 38, Laura wrote her book "My Father's List in which she embarked on 54 adventures in 6 years after finding her late father Mick's bucket list. Laura, with the help of family, friends, and even strangers found courage to go after her own dreams after realizing those of her father who was killed by a distracted driver. Her story is about secrets and the freedom we feel when we learn to trust again, in life, love, and a father's lessons on how to fully live.
